
OLD SCHOOL BANANA PUDDING
This a must have dessert in the southern ,old school comfort foodsits a easy simple yummy dessert

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 CUPS granulated sugar
- 4 tbls all purpose flour
- 4 ea egg yolks
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 bx vanilla wafers
- 6 ea sliced banana
Instructions
- quart whole milk1 cup sugar1 tablespoons vanilla or banana extract2 oz butter6 whole eggs3 tablespoons cornstarchCombine sugar and cornstarch together in a bowl and add to milk and butter in boilerHeat until comes to a boil and slightly thickensAdd 1 cup of hot liquid to eggs and mixThen add too boiler and bring back to a boil and cook until thickenedAdd flavorRemove from heat and slightly coolThen form your banana puddingAlternating cookies , pudding and bananaWith cookies last on topI use dream whip or whipped cream sometimes also with the cookies,bananas and vanilla puddingEnjoy y'all !!!

I have to say, TEXAS IS A VAST COUNTRY LAUGHS – dropped my parents off in San Angelo for them to visit with my mother’s Aunt and cousin, then off to Dallas to pick up someone. We were to relocate there with our employer, but I got on the first flight home to California as it was to HOT!
I enjoyed Lubby’s – pardon me, but the food is so damn DELICIOUS. I loved this hole in the wall steakhouse, where line dancing was part of the course. My mom LICKED HER PLATE OFF laughing.
