This appliance does so much different things
I actually have the 6 quart duo model ,which work very well for the things i cook and the recipes i will be posting the upcoming weeks
The 6-quart Instant Pot is a decent size by far, and the one i recommend for most folks. It offers plenty of capacity for weeknight dinners, soups and stews, a pot of beans, or even a whole chicken, yet doesn’t take up a crazy amount of counter space or shelf space.
If you’re worried about clutter, you can donate your old appliances to a charity, or hand them off to someone in your life who’s just starting out. We’re sure they’d appreciate them.
I actually love it because it’s a convenient, time-saving device that lets you quickly cook dinner without keeping an eye on the stove.
Clearly, I am still a fan. A huge fan. And a bigger one than when I reviewed it more than three years ago. I love that it really does save me time. It helps me with meal prep. And it makes a few old school soul food dishes that just taste better than other methods. While I certainly don’t use all the functions on this small appliance, the ones I do use make it worth the real estate it takes up in my kitchen. If you told me three years ago that I was going to be such a huge fan, I’m not sure I would have believed you.

I’m so glad you will be posting recipes for the InstantPot! I got one for Christmas. I will be following your recipes for it closely. All of your recipes that I follow turn out well. Can’t wait for the InstantPot ones!!
I have always used a pressure cooker for cooking, but now that I have both a six and an eight quart Instant pot and I use them almost daily, my old pressure cooker doesn’t get used very often. The abilities of the Instant Pot is only limited by your imagination.
